Our Co-founder & CTO, Nicole Gonzalez, recently spoke with Inc. Magazine following the aftermath of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show, shedding light on the current energy crisis in Puerto Rico.
For some, it may have been a spectacle. But for Nicole and millions of other Puerto Ricans, it was much more than that. It was the cold, hard truth about the instability of the island’s power grid.
González often reflects on a line from Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos”: “I hope my people never move away.”
“Everyone knows someone who has had to leave,” she says. “Hopefully with Raya, we’re building a future where people get to call home the same place where they see opportunity and hope.”
