Meghan and Nicole are dedicated to bridging the gap between existing solar technology and the communities that need it most.

Nicole

An engineer and designer with a Master’s in Design Impact Engineering from Stanford, Nicole has developed hardware for NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover, worked at the Stanford Product Realization Lab, and manufactured all-electric aircrafts at Joby. She founded a nonprofit in Brazil for poverty alleviation, designed technology for the World Food Program, and is a Guest Lecturer at Stanford teaching Design for Extreme Affordability. With family in Puerto Rico, Nicole understands and is committed to serving the urgent need for reliable, affordable energy solutions in disaster-prone areas.

Meghan

With a business mind focused on climate solutions, Meghan began her career at Bain & Co. but soon sought greater impact. She built a lasting pro-bono consulting relationship with The Nature Conservancy in Toronto, securing a $1M in-kind donation. Meghan then earned her MBA and MS in Sustainable Energy from Stanford, where she focused her research on making residential solar accessible and affordable. Recently, she received the Stanford Impact Founders fellowship to further this work by building raya.
